You should be assigned a sponsor upon declaring your intent to attend a re-enactment. He will do his best to work with you to get you what you need from his own kit or from others, it will include the following:

WOOLEN ITEMS

Jacket, Trousers, & if needed a blanket

LEATHER ITEMS

Belt, cartridge box, capbox & if possible shoes.

MISC.

Musket, haversack, canteen & a hat.

YOU WILL NEED TO SUPPLY THE ITEMS BELOW:

1 or 2 plain white pillow cases ( or crocus bags) to hide and carry things in/Extra blankets, if needed

A roll of toilet tissue/Medications/toothbrush

Candles/matches/pocket knife/watch

A small cooler with ice & softdrinks (and something to cover it up with)

Bread/fruit/jerky or other nonperishable food, cans OK too.

70-100 pre prepared rounds/70-100 musket percussion caps/rags.

Keep is as simple as possible. Plan very carefully, make a list of what you'll need. The fewer anachronistic things you bring, the easier it is to hide it.
